COUDERSPORT, PA—The Express Care clinic at Cole Memorial Hospital announces new hours for non-emergent medical care in response to patients’ needs for on-demand service.
Starting October 10, 2017, Express Care will be offered from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends. No appointments are necessary; walk-ins are accepted.
The Express Care physicians and physician assistants offer prompt care for minor illnesses and injuries such as sore throats, colds/flu, rashes, cuts or minor wounds and earaches. Laboratory and diagnostic imaging services are readily accessible on-site.
The walk-in clinic is a convenient alternative to a busy emergency department, generally with a lower co-payment requirement. It’s also open when most traditional healthcare practices are closed. Most medical insurance plans are accepted including Medicare and Medicaid.
A state-of-the-art electronic health record system and the Cole Connect patient portal securely connect all of the Cole Memorial Medical Group’s providers with the Express Care service to deliver a continuity of care.
